As a criminal defense attorney, I believe it is my responsibility and my privilege to defend people charged with criminal offenses in the State of Georgia. I am proud to say that every client I have represented in my career has received a reduction in their charges, reduced plea consequences, or a dismissal.
In my practice, I handle everything from traffic matters to felony cases. To me, no case is unimportant or "too small." You have constitutional rights, and those rights deserve to be protected regardless of whether you have been charged with a traffic citation or a major felony.
I earned my Bachelor's in Business Administration from the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. After business school, I focused my efforts on sales and marketing. Knowing that the law (particularly our criminal justice system) was a passion for me, I decided to go to law school. That decision took me back to Georgia State University, this time to the College of Law. At GSU, I was a top performer in Advanced Evidence, Criminal Procedure, and Oral Advocacy.
As a student, I also interned as a Judicial Clerk with the Superior Court of Fulton County and as a Third Year Law Student Prosecuting Attorney with the Hall County Solicitor General's Office. These experiences gave me invaluable insight into how judges and prosecutors think. As a defense attorney, I leverage that knowledge to get the best possible outcomes for my clients.
I believe in empowering my clients. For this reason, I take the time to conduct a thorough investigation and engage in strategic negotiation with prosecutors. This allows my clients to make an informed decision about whether they should go to trial or take a plea deal.
