We have experience in your jurisdiction.
Georgia has 159 counties and hundreds of municipal courts, and every court operates slightly differently. They also have different judges, prosecutors, and jury pools (i.e., the people who live in that jurisdiction who make up potential juries).
All of these things can affect outcomes in criminal cases. Because we have experience in many of these jurisdictions, we can give you the best advice that takes into account all of these different factors, allowing you to make the best decision for yourself and your unique circumstances. Criminal cases can take a long time, and a lot of work goes on behind the scenes while a case is pending. Your attorney is conducting an investigation, talking to witnesses, consulting with experts, and negotiating with prosecutors in between court hearings. Our office prides itself on taking your call (or calling you back promptly).
We keep you posted about how your case is progressing, even when it seems like nothing is happening. We believe this is important because we know that you are under a lot of stress. We don't want to add to your stress by disappearing, neglecting your concerns, or leaving you with unanswered questions.
